Our Goat Milk Moisturising Lotions are small-batch, handmade products that use raw goat milk as their key ingredient. This unique moisturiser can help relieve the symptoms of eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and other dry skin conditions. In addition to the healing properties of goat milk, this lotion contains natural ingredients chosen for their ability to hydrate and nourish your skin.

Our Lip Balms are enriched with Calendula Oil, Castor Oil, Apricot Kernal Oil, and Vitamin E to help regenerate and heal the skin, attract and hold in moisture, improve elasticity, and protect against free radicals.

Are all handmade with a minimum of 30-35 Hours burn time and highly fragranced throughout, we fell in love with them and felt they would compliment our range perfectly.

FIG & CASSIS: Fresh opening notes of green leaf mix with fruity accords of cassis, strawberry, and grapes. The heart blooms with floral notes of lily and jasmine combined with juicy figs, leading to a woody trail of amber and cedar.

HEDGEROW BERRIES: This fruity fragrance opens with a burst of sweet juicy blackberries and wild strawberries, balanced by the refreshing addition of rhubarb and the sheer delicacy of waterlily. Warm sandalwood base notes complete this hedgerow delight.

CINNAMON APPLES: A delicious treat to tantalise your tastebuds! Top notes of gently simmering orchard apples, softening in a buttery pan with the spiciness of ginger nutmeg and cloves. Warm vanilla caramel tones underpinning the tartness of the apple, produce a mouth watering experience.

WHITE LAVENDER: Aromatic fresh lavender blending with geranium and bergamot, blooms as the heart develops to release hints of jasmine, lily and amber before coming to a close with creamy vanilla, musk, sandalwood and patchouli.

DAMASK ROSE: A gentle blend of orange and lychee leads on to rose, orange blossom and geranium supported by exotic woods, musk, vanilla and oakmoss.

LIME, BASIL & MANDARIN: A fresh vibrant aroma blends sparkling grapefruit with armoise, mandarin, orange and zingy lime to a heart which marries jasmine, lavender, lily of the valley, violet and basil whilst a warm rich base of Cedarwood, amber, patchouli, sandalwood and moss completes the scent.

CRANBERRY & GINGER: Capturing the festive feel this fruity fragrance blends sweet orange, ripe apple, deliciously tart cranberries and a hint of frosted raspberry. A twist of ground ginger lends a delicate warmth.

MERRY CHRISTMAS: Using Red Amber & Clove, a most festive fragrance. A warm tonic of juicy citrus fruits infused with smooth cinnamon and spicy clove, the aroma of rich creamy tonka bean, smooth musk and golden amber completes this luxurious scent.

FRANKINCENSE & MYRRH: A warm spicy mix of frankincense, clove and cinnamon leads to floral patchouli, ylang ylang, lavender rose and geranium with a deep base of labdanum, cedarwood, myrrh, vanilla and smoky musk.

SLEIGH BELLS: A citrus opening leads towards a heart of white peach freesia and jasmine spiced with nutmeg and cloves, before leading to a base of tonka bean, musk, cedar and vanilla.

Why Goats Milk?

Goats Milk is full of vitamins and minerals which help keep the skin in optimum condition. Vitamin A (Retinol) works to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating the production of collagen. It contains Vitamin K which helps brighten the skin and improve elasticity and which also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, counteracting both inflammation and free radicals.

Goats Milk contains alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) which helps remove dead skin cells leaving new cells that are smoother so giving a brighter appearance and because it is a natural moisturiser, it can help prevent the skin from drying out.

Zinc and Selenium are also present in Goats Milk which again are anti-oxidants helping in the fight to protect skin from free radicals.

What are Free Radicals?

Free radicals can be formed either naturally in the body through normal processes or from outside elements such as cigarette smoke, exhaust fumes, radiation, and chemicals.

Basically, free radicals are tiny unpaired particles that contain oxygen and are chemically  unstable. They look for electrons, such as ones found in human cells to create a more stable state. This is often what causes the damage such as premature aging that free radicals are connected with.

In summary we find that Goats Milk in a soap is beneficial to the skin on many levels. It can brighten, tone, rejuvenate and rehydrate the skin.  It is good for all skin types because of its naturally occurring skin loving components.

Shea Butter Benefits

We use Shea Butter which is a natural fat that is extracted from the fruit of the Shea tree. Shea Butter has been used on the skin for centuries and its benefits to the skin are extensive. It is naturally rich in Vitamins A, E and F and also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties, which make it ideal for conditions such as Eczema, Psoriasis and Dermatitis. Shea Butter is also known to help reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks.

Why use our Goat Milk Soap?

All our soaps are made by hand in small batches here on the farm, we use carefully selected ingredients which we combine with raw Goats Milk from our own small herd of happy goats.

We do not reduce the milks efficacy by diluting it with water, nor do we use a cheaper powdered alternative.

Our ladies are family pets, they all have names and we give them the best possible life we can. When they retire from milking they stay with the herd and tend to stay in their family groups keeping an eye on the grand ‘ kids’.
