Goats may be renowned for being jumpy and playful, but that said, no-one could have predicted autumn 2021’s hottest goat fashion – jumpsuits. On trend for male and female goats alike, jumpsuits have been gracing the catwalks of the goat fashion world’s most prestigious designers, such as Jean Paul Goatier.
Also known as boilersuits or coveralls, jumpsuits combine practicality and style. They can be made from a range of materials such as cotton or denim, and insulated or waterproof jumpsuits are proving very popular for goats residing in cooler climes. As we get into the cold months of the year, you may see goats combining jumpsuits with other layers such as puffy jackets, another must have item this season. Jumpsuits can also be combined with thick overshirts on those chilly, blustery autumn days.
With winter fast approaching, knitwear is also coming into play, with bobbled woolly hats particularly chic at the moment. Woollen mittens are also very much in vogue now, with hoof-less versions available for goats who want to check their smartphones. Also popular are plaid scarves, great for the goat who wants to look cool whilst staying warm.
The in colours for goats this season are maroon, brown, and orange – think the warm seasonal palate of autumn leaves scattered on the fields. Don’t be afraid to step outside these parameters with footwear or accessories; for example hot pink earrings or red sneakers could really help your whole outfit pop.
